Through the practice of HCD methodologies Simon’s been able to
connect needs of business with those of their customers, develop and promote
common vision, define strategy, assemble and lead cross functional teams to
deliver products and services people love.
With a background in Human Factors, his deep experience in research and innovation spans over 20 years, where he has led many interesting projects, from the early research and design of Wotif.com, to the recent service mapping of the Australian Health Payments ecosystem.
Ash also worked as the Australian Expert to ISO in defining a range of the human-centred design standards in use today.
Susan has worked for 15
years as a researcher and 12 years as an Experience / User Experience (UX)
Researcher, including two major telemedicine systems at CSIRO. Susan is a PhD
candidate in Interaction design from UTS. Susan is passionate about designing innovative technology solutions that are useful, useable, used and culturally relevant.
Woody has worked as a Business Analyst, Project and Operations Manager for 10 years successfully delivering digital solutions and strategy projects for finance, healthcare, transport, TV, education and public sector clients. Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies Woody is a Certified ScrumMaster and PRINCE2 Qualified. In the capacity of Business Development Manager, he is a key part of the Tobias team, helping to carefully craft proposals and support the delivery teams on the ground.
Alan is an expert in all forms of visual communication from graphic facilitation to videography. He has directed for film and television, worked extensively as a visual designer, and brings 20 years of experience as an illustrator. He previously held the role as Head of the Visual Communication department at Raffles College.
Melinda is passionate about deeply understanding people and applying that knowledge to improve their experiences. Drawing upon her background in psychology she is able to unpack the drivers behind people's attitudes and behaviours and translate these findings into frameworks, prototypes, services and product opportunities. Mel also has 10 years experience in the field of education giving her a thorough knowledge of how people learn, interact with others and find motivation.
